Support
Lore is a city guide for chronicled places. The iPhone app is the full product (Map, Scanner, Tours, Passport, Profile). This website is the marketing site and explorer. Help below is split so web visitors are not sent to iPhone-only tabs.
Contact
Email esdronski@gmail.com and we usually reply within a couple of days. For the iPhone app, tell us your device, iOS version, and the city you were in. For the website, include the page URL and browser.
On the web
The web scanner shows no pins where I'm standing.
Lore is seeded city by city. Outside a chronicled city the scanner stays honest and shows nothing rather than guessing. Open the living map to browse cities already in Lore, or try the web scanner inside a covered city.
Why does the website ask for location or camera?
The public web scanner is local-only: location ranks nearby chronicled places, and the camera (when you allow it) stays in the browser. Frames are not sent to Lore or Google from the website. You can still browse the map and tours without the camera.
What is Lore+ on the web?
The website reads your Lore+ entitlement if you sign in with the same account, but web checkout is closed. Purchase, restore, and manage Lore+ in the iPhone app via the App Store. See Lore+ for prices and the App Store handoff. Deep dives on the free website are a three-a-day allowance in this browser until a server meter exists.
How do I delete my account from the web?
Sign in and use your web profile to delete your account and its data. Email support if that path is unavailable.
I found a place that's wrong or missing.
Email support with the place name, city, and the correction or source. Corrections to Lore's place records are reviewed separately from your private journal notes.
In the iPhone app
The iPhone scanner shows no pins where I'm standing.
Outside a chronicled city the AR viewfinder stays honest and shows nothing rather than guessing. Open the Map tab in the iPhone app to browse every city already in Lore, and check back as new cities land.
Why does the iPhone app need my camera and location?
The camera places nearby stories over the world around you, while your location determines what is nearby. Live iPhone scanning stays on your device by default. A separate signed-in Identify with Google action asks before sending one camera frame to Google Cloud Vision. Lore never runs facial recognition or sells camera, face, or location data.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings inside the iPhone app and tap Restore purchases. Restores are tied to the Apple ID that made the original purchase. The website cannot restore App Store purchases.
How do I delete my account on iPhone?
Open Settings inside the iPhone app to delete your account and its data, or use the web profile after signing in.
